Cardinals Head Off to Puerto Rico

The Cardinals finished third two weeks ago to open the spring.
LOUISVILLE, Ky,– The University of Louisville men's golf team is off to Puerto Rico to take part in the TPC Dorado Beach Collegiate. The 54-hole, three-day stroke play event will take place Sunday – Tuesday at TPC Dorado Beach.

Dates: Sunday, Feb. 23 – Monday, Feb. 25
Course: TPC Dorado Beach – Sugarcane Course
Par/Yardage: 72/7112
Format: Stroke play, 54 holes / play five, count four
Schedule:
Sunday – 7:30 a.m. ET shotgun start
Monday – 7:30 a.m. ET shotgun start
Tuesday – 7 a.m. ET shotgun start
THE COURSE
The par-72 TPC Dorado Beach Sugarcane Course will play at 7,112 yards. The Sugarcane Course is the more challenging of the two at TPC Dorado as it features more forced carries and deeper bunkers that can penalize you for an errant shot. The back nine is surrounded by newly created rivers and lakes and offers a much different look, never seen at the old Cerromar and Dorado Courses, making this a hidden gem amongst Puerto Rico golf courses.
