Recorded a 2-under-par 68 in the first round of the NCAA Championships... Named to the 2020-21 All-ACC Academic Team.
2019-20:
Played in all eight events in the 19-20 season... Improved his scoring average to 71.05.. Led by six rounds in the 60's, he placed in the top 20 in four total events, including two top 10 appearances at the Bearcat Invitational and Dorado Beach Invitational... Johnson finished a season-best tied for eighth at the Bearcat Invitational, shooting a 3-under-par 213, including his career-low first round of 66. Shot 6-under-par to finish in a tie for 11th at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate.
2018-19:
Played in 13 events, finishing with a 74.03 scoring average.. Posted one top 20 finish and two rounds in the 60s.. Fired a career-low round of 67 in the first round of the Bank of Tennessee.. Posted a season-best 18th at the Bank of Tennessee by firing a 4-under-par 212.. also shot a 68 at the General Hackler.. Johnson placed 27th at the Louisville Cardinals Challenge and 29th at the General Hackler, and completed the season with two rounds at the NCAA Championships.
2017-18:
Appeared in four events.. Posted a 73.50 scoring average.. Carded an 11th-place finish at the Louisville Cardinal Challenge with a 3-over-par 219.. Tied for 37th at the Bearcat Invitational by shooting a 216 total.. Played two rounds at the NCAA Columbus Regional, shooting a 5-over-par 148.
2016-17:
Appeared in nine tournaments throughout the season, placing third at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate for a season-best finish.. Posted a season-low 54-hole score of 213 (69-73-71).. Achieved one top five, one top 10, and one top 20 finish for the Cardinals.. Placed 43rd at the ACC Championships with a score of 229.
Before Louisville:
Won the Schooldays Championship after holing a hard chip shot on the 16th hole that ended up winning the championship.. was victorious at the Tennessee Junior PGA Championship.. played in 41st National Junior PGA Championship.. was a member of the Tennessee Junior Cup.. was a member of the 2015 Tennessee State Championship team.

Born 9/20/97.. born in Brentwood, Tennessee.. son of Joe and Becky Johnson.. plans to attend Business School.. dream foursome would include Jason Day, Tiger Woods, and Arnold Palmer.. chose Louisville because its the top school out there, with top coaches, and facilities.
