Louisville Finishes With Two Wins at the Power Five Invitational

Rashida Harris and Trey Allen finish the day with wins in the shot put and they high jump, respectively
Ann Arbor, Mich. --Â The University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams picked up two wins and finished with nine top three finishes on the final day of competition at the at the Power Five Invitational.
Senior Rashida Harris picked up the Cardinals' first win of the day in the shot put. The senior threw an indoor personal best of 15.71m/51-06.50 for her third straight win of the season. Freshman Trey Allen captured his second win of the season in the high jump. Allen cleared the bar at 2.08m/6-09.75 for his second best mark of the season.
Brooke Raglin placed second in the women's 60m dash, behind Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix with a time of 7.39. Gabriela Leon also recorded a second place finish.  She finished with a mark of 3.94m/12-11. Sharnae Alston finished second in the 200m with a season best time of 24.34.Â
Freshman Cayden Spencer-Thompson placed second in the men's triple jump with a leap of 15.03m/49-03.75. The freshman also finished third in the long jump with a mark of 7.10m/23-03.50.
Alivia Ash finished third in the women's high jump, clearing the bar at 1.72m/5-07.75. Makenli Forrest threw a season best of 21.13m/69-04 to finish third in the weight throw.
The Cardinals will return to action in three different meets the weekend of  Feb. 14-15 at the Hoosier Hills Invitational, Iowa State Classic and Tyson Invitational.
