Cardinals Wrap Up Day One of the Power Five Invitational

Ann Arbor, Mich -- The University of Louisville men's and women's track team wrapped up their first day at the Power Five Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Friday evening.Â
The day begin with competition in the multi-events. Through four events, Louisville's Aaron Johnson stands in third place of the heptathlon with 2867 points. Clay Moss is in fifth place with 2725 points. In the pentathlon, sophomore Addie Wanner is in seventh place after four events with 2885 points.Â
Five Cardinals advanced to the finals on Saturday. Brooke Raglin and Sharnae Alston advanced to the finals in the 60m dash. Raglin finished with a time of 7.43 while Alston finished clocked a 7.57 to advance.Â
On the men's side, D'Onte Blount advanced to the 60m hurdles finals with a time of 8.63. Sophomore Kayla Alexander advanced to the finals in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.43. Senior Kelsey Heyward qualified as well with a mark of 8.71.
The second and final day of the Power Five Invitational begins at 9:30 p.m. with the continuation of the heptathlon.
