
Tessa Chad Named to IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on June 1.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The IWLCA announced today that Tessa Chad of University of Louisville women's lacrosse has been named to the 2019 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game.
The 44 players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South. Chad will compete for the South team.
The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1. The Division III teams will play the first game at 11:30 am, the Division I game will follow at 1:00 pm, and the Division II teams will cap off the event with their game at 2:30 pm.
Admission for all three games is free of charge. The games will also be web-streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
Earlier this week, Chad was named IWLCA All-Region Second Team. She was also named All-ACC Second Team.
She ranked first on the team, eighth in the ACC and 28th in the nation with 56 goals. Her 56 goals rank 10th all-time in a single season in UofL history.
She averaged 3.11 goals per game, which ranked seventh in the ACC and 35th in the nation. Her 25 free position goals led the ACC and rank second all-time in UofL single season history, while her 1.39 free position goals per game led the ACC and ranked eighth in the nation.
