Cards continue ACC play against a pair of ranked opponents
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After eight straight matches at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center, the University of Louisville men's tennis team will hit the road this weekend for a pair of ACC matches against Wake Forest and NC State.
Â
The Cardinals will face defending national champion, second-ranked Wake Forest on Friday at 4 p.m., followed by No. 27 NC State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
"Not many programs can play have the defending NCAA Team Champions on their schedule, we do and appreciate the opportunity. Wake Forest is having another huge year. Also playing at NC state is important. They were one of the most improved teams in the country last season. The last time we were in Raleigh we rallied to a great 4-3 win so we have some good memories there which I hope can help us."
