February 08, 2019 | Men's Tennis
Louisville will face Oregon Saturday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Looking to build on its three-match win streak, the University of Louisville men's tennis team heads west to Eugene, Ore. on Saturday for a matchup against Oregon. Match time is slated for 5 p.m. EST.
Â
"We have some momentum beating three top 75 teams in a row, but we know we have to play even better to be successful at Oregon," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "It is a long way to fly and the surface is different than ours, but we will practice twice and plan to get acclimated. We are excited to play and the team had been swinging free and playing with no fear, which is how you want to play. They have one of the top players in the nation in Thomas Laurent there so it will add to the excitement."
