LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â Louisville plays its fifth straight at home in the KFC Yum! Center and its final game in the Global Sports Shootout as the Cardinals face the Akron Zips on Sunday.

Louisville won its 54th straight home game in the month of November when the Cardinals beat USC Upstate 76-50 on Wednesday as Dwayne Sutton grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds while adding nine points. Jordan Nwora scored a season-high 28 points while adding nine rebounds, Darius Perry handed out nine assists without a turnover and Ryan McMahon scored 15 points while hitting 5-of-8 three-point goals.

Louisville has four players averaging double figures through five games. Junior Jordan Nwora leads the team in scoring with 22 points per game, while pulling down seven rebounds a game. Ryan McMahon is second on the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game and connecting on 60 percent from behind the arc.  Steven Enoch is averaging 10.6 points per game while Dwayne Sutton is also averaging 10.6 points. Enoch leads the team on the boards with 9.4 rebounds per game. Darius Perry leads the team with 35 assists.Â

Akron (4-1) has won four of its first five games of the season, falling only at West Virginia 94-84. The Zips beat Youngstown State 82-60 on Nov. 21 as Akron limited Youngstown to 32.4 percent shooting. Picked to finish fifth in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference, Akron posted a 17-16 record last season.

The Zips ranked No. 22 in NCAA and No. 1 in MAC for defense efficiency last season. Akron is No. 111 in the Kenpom rankings through Nov. 21. UofL forward Quinn Slazinski and Akron guard Greg Tribble were teammates last season at Huntington (W.Va.) Prep, which posted a 20-5 record and No. 16 national ranking among prep schools. Akron Coach John Groce was the head coach at Ohio University when the Cardinals prevailed over the Bobcats in 2008 and 2011, the latter during a season in which Ohio reached the NCAA Sweet 16.
