Sophomore Year
- Started five of the last eight games, with his communication on defense among the primary reasons.
- Contributed seven points and five rebounds against Virginia on March 6 in 17 minutes, his seventh game of the season with five or more rebounds.
- His 124 points and 71 rebounds in 20 games as a sophomroe were more than seven times what he produced in 15 games as a freshman.
- Came off the bench against Notre Dame to score 10 points and grab five rebounds. It was his fifth double-digit scoring game of his career and the first in 10 games.
- Hit a huge three-pointer to lead off overtime scoring at Duke on Feb. 27.
- Contributed eight points, six rebounds -- one short of his career high -- and two assists off the bench at Boston College.
- Scored a career-high 11 points at Wisconsin, adding five rebounds without a turnover.
- Scored 10 points in each of the Cardinals’ first two games, adding a career high seven rebounds vs. Seton Hall.
- Appeared in 15 games as a freshman, including playing at least three minutes in eight games.
- Scored six points while making both of his three-point attempts against Youngstown State in the Cardinals’ home opener on Nov. 13.

- Averaged 14.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists on a balanced team in his final season in 2018-19 at Huntington Prep, which posted a 20-5 record and No. 16 national ranking among prep schools. He was selected to the All-USA West Virginia Boys Basketball Team second team.
- As a junior in 2017-18, Slazinski averaged 11.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in helping Huntington Prep to 21-7 record.
- His family moved from Michigan to Houston when he was in the sixth grade. He was a first team all-district selection as a sophomore at Westbury Christian School in Houston in helping his team win the Texas 5A championship for the 21st time in 26 years, scoring 23 points in the title game.
- Was an accomplished distance runner in high school, posting the 12th best two-mile time in school history at Westbury Christian. He was also a standout baseball player before focusing on basketball.
- His father Mike played football at Grand Valley State.
- Had also received offers from Cal, DePaul, Georgia Tech and Houston among others before selecting UofL for his collegiate career.
