Hollyn Barr came to Louisville from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and has been crucial component of the Cardinals' defense.

She has played in 27 games worked her way into a full-time starting role. In 2017, she was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week and became Louisville's first NFHCA National Defensive Player of the Week after opening her collegiate career with wins against Indiana and No. 3 Delaware. This season, she garnered ACC defensive player of the week honors again.

She is in the midst of a career-best season with 14 wins and 6.5 shutouts and is ranked seventh in the nation with a 1.00 goals against average.

Over the summer, she was selected to participate in the USA Field Hockey Development Team Selection Camp.

The English major and linguistics minor, is a two-time NFHCA National Academic Squad selection and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2018. She is set to graduate in December 2019.
