As a senior (Fall 2020): Opted out of the spring... Played nearly every minute of every game... Stood second in the ACC with a 1.30 goals-against average... Posted a season-high seven saves in the 5-2 win at Virginia (10/23)... Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad.. ACC Academic Honor Roll member.

As a redshirt junior (2019): ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 22)... Started every game... Produced a 1.06 goals against average and 7.5 shutouts... Collected a career-high nine saves against No. 6 Iowa.. Earned her bachelor’s degree in December... Selected to 2019 All-ACC Academic Field Hockey Team... Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.

As a junior (2018): Played in the 4-1 win against Michigan State... Selected for USA Field Hockey’s Women’s Development Team Selection Camp... Participated in the USA Field Hockey Young Women’s Development Camp... Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll... NFHCA National Academic Team selection.

As a sophomore (2017): Played in eight games with five starts... Carried a 4-1 record along with a 0.92 goals against average and a .773 save percentage... Played her first career games this season picking up wins against Indiana, then-No. 3 Delaware and Kent State

Three-time Lancaster-Lebanon league all-star… 2015 all-league team member… Named defensive MVP of the 2015 all-star game… Posted a 65-29 career record and an .830 save percentage… Helped Hempfield to four district titles and reached the Lancaster-Lebanon league finals four straight years… Hempfield also reached the state semifinals in 2012… Played for Lanco Premier club team which reached the finals of the Disney Field Hockey Showcase and the National Indoor Tournament.

Personal: Full name is Hollyn Rachel Barr… Born July 26, 1997… Daughter of David and Suzanne Barr… Has two older brothers: Keenan and Troy… Major is English with a minor in linguistics… Her brother, Keenan played soccer at LIU… Her brother, Troy, played soccer at Lipscomb… Post college ambition is to write for marketing companies… She is motivated by her brothers – seeing what they have accomplished in athletics and academics... Favorite athlete is Michael Phelps.
