
Bianco, Masters, Sep Earn NFHCA All-West Region Honors

Izzy Bianco selected to first team, Lauren Masters and Annabel Sep named to second team
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The University of Louisville placed three on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-West Region teams. Izzy Bianco earned first team recognition while Annabel Sep and Lauren Masters were named to the second team as announced by the organization today.

This marks the second straight all-region honor for Bianco, who was named to the second team in 2024. Â The Berlin, N.J., native was also recently selected to the NFHCA Senior Team. A two-year team captain, Bianco helped anchor the Cardinals' midfield this season, notching three goals and dishing out three assists. Throughout her career, she played in 77 games, scoring nine goals and dishing out six assists.
In addition to her collegiate success, Bianco helped the USA Field Hockey U-21 team to Silver Medals at the Junior Pan American Championship in 2024 and 2025.

Sep, a junior back from Amsterdam, The Netherlands made an immediate impact in her first season at Louisville as an integral part of the Cardinals' defense and penalty corner attack unit. The 2025 all-Atlantic Coast Conference second team selection finished the year tied for second on the team with four goals and dished out a pair of assists while helping the Cards to three defensive shutouts.

Masters, a junior forward from Pittstown, N.J., takes home her first NFHCA All-West Region nod after notching three goals and registering a career-high four assists and standing tied for third on the team with 10 points in 2025.

Masters was also named to the USA Field Hockey U-21 team for the 2025 FIH Women's Junior World Cup (JWC). She previously helped the U.S. Junior National Team to a silver medal in the 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

The Cardinals finished the 2025 campaign with an 8-10 overall record and a 2-6 mark in ACC play and made a quarterfinal appearance in the conference tournament.
