Devin Morley fired a 3-under-par 69 on Monday afternoon.
EWA BEACH, O'ahu – Devin Morley of the University of Louisville men's golf team fired a 3-under-69 to lead the Cardinals after the first round of the in the inaugural Hoakalei Country Club Invitational on the island of O'ahu.
The Cardinals are tied for fifth place with Loyola-Marymount after shooting a 3-under-par 285. No. 41 Ole Miss leads the team standings at 270, six strokes ahead of 32nd-ranked East Tennessee State (276).
Morley, who is playing as an individual, is tied for seventh overall, sitting just four shots off the lead after the first round of action.
Keegan de Lange is the top performer for the Cardinals' top five after shooting a 2-under-par 70 to stand in a tie for 15th, while Jiri Zuska and Trevor Johnson are tied for 25th after a 1-under-par 71.
John Murphy is tied for 49th after carding a 1-over-par 73 and Matthias Schmid is tied for 62nd after a 2-over-par 74.
