Barr earns her second career ACC player of the week honor
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The University of Louisville's Hollyn Barr has been named the ACC Field Hockey Co-Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league on October 22.

Hollyn Barr, a junior from Lancaster, Pa., posted a 1.27 goals against average with a shutout and 11 saves to help the Cardinals to a 3-0 showing on the week – with two of those victories coming against ranked opponents.

In Tuesday's win against No. 16 Stanford, the junior notched a pair of saves en route to her sixth complete shutout of the season. She collected a career-high nine saves in the Cardinals' 3-2 overtime win against No. 6 on Sunday.

At 13-2 on the season, the Cardinals have already equaled last year's total and have matched the best record through 15 games since the 2016 season. Louisville also went 13-2 before finishing the year with a program-best mark of 16-5.
