Women’s Lacrosse Adds Morris, Roskovich for 2019 Season
April 16, 2018 | Women's Lacrosse
The duo will join a group of eight newcomers in 2019.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse announced the addition of two players for the 2019 season, Hannah Morris, an attacker from Orillia, Ontario, Canada and Abby Roskovich, a defender from Salisbury, Md.
"We are extremely excited to add Hannah (Morris) and Abby (Roskovich) to the Louisville women's lacrosse program," said head coach Scott Teeter. "Hannah is one of the top attackers to come out of Canada. She is a natural goal scorer, has great stick skills and understands the attacking game well. Abby is a solid defensive player with a tremendous upside."
Both players will be eligible for the 2019 campaign and will be joined by seven newcomers that were announced in early December.
Hannah Morris, Attacker, Orillia, Ontario, Canada

Hannah Morris is a four-year letter winner for the varsity lacrosse team at Patrick Fogarty High School. She helped lead Fogarty High School to state championships in 2016 and 2017, while being named MVP of both tournaments. She was the highest goal scorer in 2017. In addition, she helped lead Team Ontario to a Canadian National Championship in 2017 and was named MVP of the semifinal game. She also helped direct the Orillia Lady Kings to a Lacrosse Provincial Championship in 2016, becoming the first team from Orillia to win the provincial championship, and was the leading goal scorer.
Why I Chose Louisville – Head coach Scott Teeter was a big reason why I chose Louisville. He has had tremendous success at both the collegiate level and as head coach of Team Canada. I think that he can bring out the best of both our team and myself as a player. I also heard a lot about Louisville, which has all been one hundred percent positive. When I visited, everything was so impressive, the facilities were better than anywhere I had been and all of the people were so attentive and positive.
Abby Roskovich, Defender, Salisbury, Md.

Abby Roskovich is a four-year letter winner for the varsity lacrosse team and the varsity field hockey team at Parkside High School. She was named lacrosse co-captain and team MVP in 2017, and was named Lacrosse Bayside South Honorable Mention in 2015, Lacrosse Bayside South Second Team in 2016 and Lacrosse Bayside South First Team in 2017. In addition, she was named Field Hockey Bayside South First Team in 2017.
Why I Chose Louisville – I chose Louisville because of the opportunity to play Division I lacrosse and because they offer a major in sign language.
