Men's Tennis Travels to Florida for a Pair of ACC Matches
March 29, 2018 | Men's Tennis
Cards will face No. 9 Florida State Friday and No. 49 Miami Sunday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following an undefeated five-match home stand, the University of Louisville men's tennis team will travel to Florida for a pair of ACC matches against ninth-ranked Florida State and Miami. The Cardinals will square off against Florida State at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by No. 49 Miami at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
"This weekend will be a big test for us," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "FSU just upset the top-ranked team in the country and Miami just beat NC State who has been top 25 recently. To compound the challenge, we have been playing a lot indoors and these matches will probably be outdoors. But, our team has responded well to challenges all year. We are 12-1 in our last 13 matches and are relatively healthy as well. So we have a good game plan and will give a great effort."
