Wasike Repeats as All-American

Louisville junior finishes 14th at NCAA Championships
MADISON, Wisc. – For the second-consecutive season, junior Dorcas Wasike has earned the honor of USTFCCCA All-American.
With a time of 20:08.2, Wasike finished 14th in the NCAA Championships Women's 6K on a snowy Saturday morning at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course. She closed out a historic campaign with top-15 finishes in all seven races and five victories, including the ACC and NCAA Southeast Regional championships.
In the women's race, Colorado senior Dani Jones took the national championship with a time of 19:42.8, helping the Buffaloes win the team title with 65 points. New Mexico placed second in both standings with sophomore Weini Kelati finishing over two seconds behind Jones as the Lobos posted 103 points.
In the men's championship 10K, Northern Arizona repeated as national champions with 83, finishing ahead of second-place BYU. Wisconsin senior Morgan McDonald picked up the individual title on his home course with a time of 29:08.3, finishing under a second before Stanford's Grant Fisher.
