
Cardinals Host Four-Team Tournament to Wrap Fall Play

Louisville will play Vanderbilt in a full 60-minute game at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After two weekends on the road, University of Louisville lacrosse returns to UofL Lacrosse Stadium on Saturday for their fall season finale. Joining the Cardinals in the four-team tournament will be Indy, Montevallo and Vanderbilt.

Louisville will play two 20-minute halves against Indy at 11:30 a.m. ET and Montevallo at 1:45 p.m. ET before squaring off against Vanderbilt in a full 60-minute contest at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Vanderbilt will also play games against Indy and Montevallo in the shortened format, while the Greyhounds and Falcons will meet in a full game to kick off the tournament at 9:30 a.m.

Last time the Cardinals competed at UofL Lacrosse Stadium, they registered a pair of wins over Marquette and Butler.

Tessa Chad scored four goals against Marquette and eight against Butler to lead all scorers. Sophomores Ally Hall and Caroline Blalock also contributed solid performances for the Cards, recording a hat trick in each victory.

In goal, redshirt sophomore Rachel Florek led the Cardinals with 11 saves in just one half of action.
