Men's Tennis Wraps Up Play at Gator Ranked +1 Tournament

Wynn and Rouanet post wins on final day
Senior Nicolas Rouanet and sophomore Parker Wynn each picked up singles victories as the University of Louisville men's tennis team wrapped up play at the Gators Ranked +1 Tournament Sunday.

"This weekend will help us the rest of the fall and develop our games individually," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "The level here was incredibly high and there were zero easy matches. We strive to be a very good team and playing players from programs of a high level is always the way to get there. Our guys love playing prestigious tournaments and our Fall schedule is full of them."

In Orange Division singles action, Wynn defeated Illinois' Noe Khlif 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in the consolation draw. Rouanet posted a 6-2, 6-2 win over North Florida's Jefta Kenic in the Blue Division consolation bracket.

The Cardinals return to action next weekend when selected players travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the ITA All-American Championships.
