LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse has added a pair of graduate transfers from Furman in Hope Herline and Molly Marshall, head coach Kellie Young announced on Tuesday.
Both players will have one year of eligibility.
"We are excited to welcome Hope and Molly to the Louisville lacrosse program," Young said. "Both players are change-makers as they were two of the first women to play lacrosse at Furman. With their experience, they will bring immense leadership to our program and will play an immediate role in pushing us forward in 2018. We are excited to have them all in."
The duo started all 19 games in 2017 as they helped guide the Paladins to a 12-7 record.

Herline, a midfielder from Brentwood, Tenn., finished last season with eight goals and two assists, while picking up 19 ground balls. She tied career highs with two goals at Gardner-Webb and four grand balls vs. Coastal Carolina.
In 2016, she played in 19 games, with ten starts, scoring ten goals and adding five assists. She also picked up 25 ground balls.

Marshall, a defender from Ocean City, Md., picked up 25 ground balls, which ranked fourth on the team, while forcing nine turnovers, a year ago. She had a career-high four groundballs vs. Stetson.
She also started all 19 games in 2016, picking up 23 ground balls and causing 15 turnovers.
