Koloski, Read and Siverson Honored at IWLCA All-American Banquet

Three Cardinals honored at the banquet in Hunt Valley, Md.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville's Brittany Read, Hannah Koloski and Meghan Siverson were honored at the IWLCA All-American Banquet on Saturday at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, Md. Read and Koloski earned second team All-American honors while Siverson was named to the third team.Â
Read, the ACC Defender of the Year, led the ACC in saves (194), save percentage (.512) and saves per game (10.21). She owns the ACC's second best goals against average (9.70) that also ranks 21st nationally. Her 51.8 saves percentage ranks seventh in Division I, while her 186 saves this season ranks fourth. Read has posted 11 games of double-digit saves this season, including in each of the Cardinals' last four games.  She tied her career-high with 16 saves against Notre Dame. The junior became Louisville's all-time leader in career saves (315) this season. Read was also named first team All-ACC and first team All-West/Midwest All-Region.Â
For the season, Koloski led the way for the Cardinals with 65 points on the season, scoring 62 goals and dishing out two assists.  Koloski also leads the nation in free position goals per game with 1.50, is sixth in shots on goal per game with 5.89 and third in shots per game at 7.78.  Koloski owns the school for career free position shots with 59. She was also named first team All-ACC and first team All-West/Midwest All-Region.Â
Just a sophomore, Siverson has 63 points on the season from 55 goals and eight assists. She is seventh in shots on goal per game with 5.72, eighth in shots per game at 7.78, 11th in free position goals per game at 1.08, and 31st in goals scored with 55. Siverson ranks fourth in the ACC in draw controls and 25th in the nation. She was also named second team All-ACC and first team All-West/Midwest All-Region.Â
