
Morin-Kougoucheff Advances to Main Draw of Egypt F18 Futures Tournament

Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff went 3-0 in the qualifying rounds
The University of Louisville's Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff advanced to the main draw of the Egypt F18 Pro Futures Tournament.
After receiving a first-round bye, the rising junior from Capbreton, France defeated Jan Zednik (Czech Republic) 6-4 7-6 and went on to beat Elkadi (Egypt) 6-2 6-1.
"I am happy that Chris got through the qualifying rounds of this Pro future and into the main draw where he can earn his first ATP point," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "He is already in the main draw in doubles. He is showing the commitment to grow as a player and has ambition in his tennis career."
