
Men's Tennis Celebrates Senior Day Against Duke Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Cards conclude the regular season Sunday against No. 12 North Carolina and IUPUI
The University of Louisville men's tennis team will conclude the regular season with three home matches this weekend. The 39th-ranked Cardinals will celebrate Senior Day on Friday when No. 28 Duke visits Bass-Rudd Tennis Center for a 3:30 p.m. start. On Sunday, Louisville will take on No. 12 North Carolina at 12 p.m. and IUPUI at 6 p.m. in its home finale. Admission is free.

Prior to Friday's ACC matchup against Duke the Cardinals will honor senior Sean Donohue. The Louisville, Ky. native (St. Xavier High School) spent his first two seasons at Alabama before transferring to UofL as a junior. He currently leads the team with a 28-9 doubles record and has teamed with freshman Parker Wynn for a 21-6 overall record. The duo has appeared as high as No. 22 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings this season and is currently No. 47.

Additionally, Donohue has tallied 28 singles wins and 50 doubles victories throughout his career at Louisville

The psychology major is a two-time ITA Scholar Athlete and was named to the 2016 ACC honor roll.

About Louisville: The Cardinals enter the weekend a 19-6 overall record and a 6-4 mark in the ACC.
• The Cards stayed at No. 39 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings for the second straight week.
• Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff stands at No. 114 nationally in singles, marking his third straight week in the ITA rankings. The sophomore holds down the No. 1 spot in singles and had tallied a 21-13 overall record while going 10-8 in dual matches.
• The tandem of senior Sean Donohue and freshman Parker Wynn stands at No. 51 in the most recent ITA doubles rankings. The pair has compiled a 21-6 overall record including a 15-6 tally at No. 1.
• Wynn leads the Cardinals with a 36-10 overall singles record and is 20-4 in dual matches playing mostly at Nos. 2 and 3. He has won nine of his last 10 matches. Wynn is currently tied for fourth on Louisville's list for single season victories and needs one more to move into a tie for third. Sebastian Stiefelmeyer owns the single season record with 42 set in 2015.
• Sophomore Brandon Lancaster is 28-11 in singles and carries a 17-6 mark in dual matches while playing mostly at No. 5.
• Donohue leads the Cards in doubles with a 28-9 overall record.
• Louisville is 16-2 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center with its only losses of the season coming at the hands of No. 1 Virginia and No. 29 Florida State.
• Head coach Rex Ecarma is in his 27th season at UofL and has compiled a 442-289 overall record.
