
Lacrosse Hosts Duquesne For a Midweek Game on Tuesday

Cardinals will face the Dukes at Noon on Tuesday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville lacrosse team welcomes Duquesne for a midweek game on Tuesday, March 21 at noon at UofL Lacrosse Stadium.

The Cardinals (8-3, 1-2) are coming off a 14-11 loss at ACC foe Boston College on Saturday. Senior Hannah Koloski led the Cardinals' attack with four goals, while sophomore Meghan Siverson tallied three in the loss. Four other Cardinals finished with one goal apiece. Junior keeper Brittany Read finished with 10 saves.

Koloski leads Louisville with 44 points from 43 goals and one assist, while Siverson has 41 points from 38 goals and three assists. Fellow sophomore McKayla Conti has 25 points from 20 goals and five assists. Ashley Lynch has a team-high 10 assists. Read owns an 8.75 goals against average along with 112 saves and a .536 save percentage.

The Dukes (2-4) are coming off a 20-6 loss to UMBC over the weekend. Kaitlyn DeHaven scored two goals in the loss.

Senior Kaelin Shaw leads Duquense with 13 goals and seven assists on the year, while junior Jill Vacanti has 16 goals and three assists on the year. Junior keeper Emily McMinimee carries a 17.14 goals against average, 32 saves and a .311 save percentage. As a team, Duquesne allows 16.67 goals per game and a .315 save percentage.

Louisville leads the all-time series versus Duquesne 1-0. The Cardinals defeated the Dukes 17-0 in their only meeting on March 14, 2015 at UofL Lacrosse Stadium, giving Louisville its first shutout in school history.Â
