Louisville Announces 2017 Baseball Television Schedule

Cardinals will have 49 of 56 regular season games televised on ESPN platforms
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville baseball team's 2017 television schedule features 49 of 56 regular season games on ESPN platforms, including all 30 Atlantic Coast Conference contests. The 49 regular season games slated for television coverage are the most in school history.
The Cardinals will play once on ESPN2 with their May 14 contest at Clemson and once on ESPNU when they host Florida State in the regular season finale on May 20 at Jim Patterson Stadium. Louisville will make one appearance on the ACC's Regional Sports Network with the March 25 game at NC State, while 45 games will be televised exclusively on ACC Network Extra, available on WatchESPN and the ESPN app. The Cardinals will also make one appearance on the SEC Network with their April 18 game at Kentucky.
All 33 regular season games at Jim Patterson Stadium will be televised on ESPN platforms, including 32 games on ACC Network Extra. Each of the first 14 games of the ACC Championship on May 23-28 at Louisville Slugger Field will be aired by the Regional Sports Network and ACC Network Extra. The 2017 ACC Championship title game will be televised by ESPN2.
The No. 6 Cardinals will open the 2017 season on Feb. 17-19 in Clearwater, Florida with a trio of games at Spectrum Field, the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies. Louisville will face Alabama State on Feb. 17 at 3 p.m., ET, No. 22 Maryland on Feb. 18 at 6 p.m., and Ball State on Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. The 2017 home-opener for the Cardinals is set for Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m., ET at Jim Patterson Stadium against Eastern Kentucky.
