Louisville will play its fourth and final game of the Houzz Gotham Classic presented by TicketIQ as the Cardinals face the State University of New York at Albany Great Danes on Wednesday in the KFC Yum! Center. Louisville beat Memphis 81-72 in the showcase game of the Gotham Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday as the Cardinals buried a season-high 14 three-pointers. Quentin Snider was named the Most Outstanding Player of the event with 19 points and five assists (3-of-4 three-pointers).

Deng Adel leads the Cardinals in scoring with 16.0 points per game. Quentin Snider ranks second on the team, averaging 11.6 points per game while dishing out a team best 38 assists. Spalding leads the team on the boards with 9.6 rebounds per game and ranks third on the team in scoring with 10.1 points per game. Freshman Jordan Nwora leads the team from behind the arc, shooting 45.5 percent on the year.Â

Albany (11-2) has won five of its last six, including a 68-65 victory over Canisius on Dec. 16 in its last outing as Charles Travis led the Great Danes with 24 points. Â Albany is 16th in the nation in rebounding margin (+9.5) and has won two of its three games in the Gotham Classic.

The Great Danes return four starters from last season's 21-14 team that reached the finals of the America East tournament before falling to St. Peter's in the first round of the postseason College Insider Tournament. UAlbany's Joe Cremo – who passed 1,000 career points earlier this season -- and David Nichols were America East Preseason All-Conference selections. Cremo (17.8 ppg), Nichols (15.7) and Travis Charles (14.9) are all among the top 12 scorers in the America East.

This will be the first time Louisville has played an Albany team. Albany is only the second America East foe the Cardinals have ever faced. UofL has a 3-0 record against American East member Hartford, including an 87-52 victory in the last matchup on Nov. 17, 2015 in the KFC Yum! Center.
