LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's lacrosse closed the fall portion of their schedule with a strong performance against Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.

It's a huge shift from last week and we're excited about the future."
Sophomore Julia Schmuckler led the way for the Cardinals as she finished with three goals.Senior Jillian Balog, senior Madison Hoover and sophomore Katie Caddigan added two goals each.
Hoover and freshman Carolina Blalock recorded two assists, while sophomore goalkeeper Lexie Ball finished with 19 saves.
Hoover, Caroline Blalock and freshman Sarah Blalock recorded two ground balls each. Senior Emily Howell had eight draw controls.
With fall play behind them, Louisville now turns their attention towards the start of the season in February.
The Cardinals finished last season with an 11-8 record and are coming off a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
