Lacrosse to host Ohio State on Saturday to Wrap Fall Play

The Cardinals host the Buckeyes on Saturday at noon to wrap the fall portion of their schedule.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team faces Ohio State this Saturday at noon at UofL Lacrosse Stadium to wrap up the fall portion of their schedule. Admission is free.

The contest will be a full regulation game, including an additional 20 to 30 minutes.

"We're excited to finish up fall play at home against a very competitive Ohio State team, and weather-wise it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day," said head coach Kellie Young. "It's always our goal to close the fall strong and to use that as a spring board into our season."
Last week, Louisville traveled to Maryland to play three games on Saturday and four on Sunday. Junior Elise Koehl led the way as she finished with seven goals on the weekend.

The Cardinals finished last season with an 11-8 record and are coming off a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
