Women's Lacrosse Competes in U.S. Naval Academy Tournament

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse wrapped up the road portion of its fall schedule with four games at the U.S. Naval Academy Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

In the opener against Arizona State, Caroline Blalock, Elise Koehl, Alex McNicholas, Julia Schmuckler and Shayla Scanlan all finished with goals. McNicholas also added four draw controls.

Emily Howell recorded five ground balls against Penn State, while Katie Caddigan, Schmuckler and Scanlan had goals against James Madison.

In the final game against Vanderbilt, Lexie Ball finished with seven saves.

Scanlan, Schmuckler, Koehl and Blalock all recorded two goals on the day.

The Cardinals wrap up fall play next Saturday when they host Ohio State.
