
Keegan de Lange Posts Top-20 Finish at Bearcat Invitational

Sophomore Keegan de Lange registers his fifth-straight top-20 finish
Sophomore Keegan de Lange shot a 3-over-par 216 at Cincinnati's Bearcat Invitational to pace the University of Louisville men's golf team to an eighth place finish Tuesday at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.

De Lange carded a 2-over-par 73 in the final round, earning a tie for 12th-place -- Â marking his fifth straight top-20 finish.

Louisville entered the day in sixth place and shot a 13-over-par 297 in the last round for a three-day score of 876.

Trevor Johnson carded a 1-over-par 72 in the final round. The freshman totaled a 7-over-par 220 over the two days to tie for 23rd. Junior Nicolas Platret shot a 6-over-par 77 on Tuesday and registered a three-day total of 223 to finish 33rd.

Freshman Devin Morley tied for 36th overall after carding a 4-over-par 75 in the final round and finished the tournament with score of 224.

Senior J.D. Lehman and junior Erik Dulik both tallied a score of 225 to finish tied for 39th. Dulik shot a 6-over-par 77 while Lehman carded a 7-over-par 78 in the final round.

The Cardinals return to action Oct. 14-16 when they travel to Johnson City, Tenn., for the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.
