
Men’s Golf in Sixth Place After Day One of Bearcat Invitational

Keegan de Lange stands tied for 10th place after two rounds
The University of Louisville men's golf team fired a score of 579 through two rounds of play and stands in sixth place in a 10-team field following day one of Cincinnati's Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club (par 71, 7150 yards).
Michigan State holds the overall lead with a 2-under-par 566 while Ohio State follows closely at 567. College of Charleston carries an even-par 568 total for a third place standing while host Cincinnati stands in fourth place with an eight-over-par 576. Kentucky's 10-over-par 578 is fifth.
The Cardinals opened the day with a six-over-par 290 and stood in fourth place after the first round and went on to shoot a 289 in the second round to slip to sixth place.
Sophomore Keegan de Lange led the Cards with a one-over-par 143 and is tied for10th. Junior Nicolas Platret is tied for 24th with a four-over-par 146. Senior JD Lehman stands tied for 26th with a five-over-par 147. Junior Erik Duklik and freshman Trevor Johnson are each tied for 29th with a six-over-par 148. Freshman Devin Morley rounded out the Cardinals' scoring with a seven-over-par 149 and is tied for 35th after two rounds of play.
