Men's Golf Heads to Bearcat Invitational

The University of Louisville men's golf team returns to action in the third week of the 2016-17 season when the Cardinals travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Bearcat Invitational at the Coldstream Country Club.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held Monday and Tuesday and features a 10-team field: Akron, Cincinnati, College of Charleston, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ohio State and Xavier.

Louisville will bring a six-player lineup which will consist of sophomore Keegan de Lange, freshman Devin Morley, junior Nicolas Platret, junior Erik Dulik, freshman Trevor Johnson and sophomore Simon Zach.

The Cardinals are coming off of a seventh-place finish at last week's Franklin American Intercollegiate at the Grove in College Grove, Tenn. De Lange shot a 3-over-par 219 to tie for 11^thin the tournament, notching his fourth top-20 finish. Dulik also finished in the top 20, after totaling a 3-over par 73 in the final round to earn a tie for 13th.
