Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

Cardinal begin fall play with alumnae game on Saturday morning
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville women's lacrosse head coach Kellie Young announced the program's fall schedule on Monday, highlighted by home contests on Oct. 1 and Oct. 29. The fall season will get kicked off this weekend with an Alumnae game at the UofL Lacrosse Field on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 9:00 a.m.
The Cardinals open competition against collegiate opponents on Sept. 17 as they travel to Vanderbilt for a game. They return home on Oct. 1 to host a four team tournament. The Cardinals will host James Madison, Vanderbilt and Marquette at the UofL Lacrosse Field.Â
They will then travel to the U. S. Naval Academy Tournament on Oct. 15-17 held Annapolis, Md. They will then host the annual Boo in the Ville on Oct. 22. The Cardinals will wrap up the fall season on Oct. 29 as they host a three team tournament. Cincinnati and Grand Valley State will visit the UofL Lacrosse Field. Â
Louisville will host their annual banquet on Sept. 16 and will host an alumnae game the following day.
