
Volleyball Reminder: Active Ankle Challenge Moved to KFC Yum! Center

Cards will play three games at KFC Yum! Center
The University of Louisville Volleyball team has moved this weekend's Active Ankle Challenge from the on-campus Cardinal Arena to downtown's KFC Yum! Center. Â In all, six matches will be played over the two days. Â
Season ticket holders have already been contacted, as have single match ticket purchasers and Cardinal Arena ticket holders. Tickets are still available at the door.Â
Friday, September 2, Auburn will play Stony Brook at 5 p.m. followed by Louisville taking on Santa Clara at 7:30.Â
Saturday will feature Louisville vs. Stony Brook at 10 a.m.; Santa Clara vs. Auburn at 12 p.m.; Stony Brook vs. Santa Clara at 5 p.m. and Auburn vs. Louisville at 7:30. All in the KFC Yum! Center.Â
The Cardinals are 3-0 coming into the weekend, after sweeping the Hampton Inn Invitational at Bowling Green State last weekend. Freshman outside hitter Melanie McHenry was named tournament MVP and Tess Clark was named to the All-Tournament team. Â
Auburn has several Louisville connections with three Kentuckiana players on its roster. Head Coach Rick Nold is a St. Xavier and UofL graduate, who once was an assistant on the Cardinal staff. Stony Brook has a player from Corydon and Providence High School across the river.Â
