
Three Cardinals Earn IWLCA All-Region Honors

Kaylin Morissette, Cortnee Daley and Hannah Koloski earn all-region honors
LOUISVILLE, KY. -- The University of Louisville's Kaylin Morissette, Cortnee Daley and Hannah Koloski were named Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association All-West/Midwest Region selections. Morissette and Daley earned first team honors while Koloski earned second team honors.
The IWLCA has named 128 student-athletes in Division I with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2016. These student-athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on Wednesday May 18. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, PA.
A 2015 IWLCA All-American, Morissette wrapped up her senior campaign as the all-time draw controls leader with 572 and ranks second in the nation in draw controls with 8.56 per game. The first team All-ACC selection led the Cardinals this season 56 points, scoring 37 goals and adding 19 assists. She also led the team in ground balls with 36 on the year. Morissette has scored seven hat tricks this season and scored two game-winning goals for the Cardinals.
Daley, a co-captain, is second on the team with 50 points, scoring 40 goals and 10 assists.  She also led the team in caused turnovers with 20 and ranks second on the team in ground balls with 32. Daley has tallied eight hat tricks this season, including three game-winning goals. For her career, Daley scored 154 goals and dished out 23 assists.Â
Koloski led the Cardinals' attack, finishing the year with 43 goals. She ranked second in the ACC in free position goals and 22nd in the nation, connecting on 13 of 29 this season. She also ranked fourth in the ACC in free position percentage at .448. Koloski led the team with four game-winning goals this season while recording eight hat tricks on the season. She finished the year ranked fourth in points with 45.
