Laura Restrepo tied for 13th with a 4-over-par 220.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville senior Laura Restrepo shot a 4-over-par 76 on Tuesday in the final round of the Silverado Showdown, and the Cardinals finished their three-day stint on the West Coast with a 10th-place finish in Napa, Calif.
Restrepo, who earned her eighth top-15 finish of the season, carded a three-day score of 4-over-par 220 and tied for 13th. The Panama native had consecutive even-par 72 performances on Sunday and Monday. She putted for par on nine-straight holes to begin the day and followed with her lone birdie before she hit consecutive bogeys on Nos. 1 and 2.
The Cardinals capped the event with a 15-over-par 303 and completed the tournament at 36-over-par 900. No. 11 Stanford secured the team title with a 1-over-par 865.
Molly Skapik put together arguably the best performance of the group, shooting a 2-under-par 70. The sophomore logged a 2-under-par on the back nine, and despite bogeys on Nos. 2 and 3, she fired three-consecutive birdies over her final three holes. It was her seventh round even or below par this year, and she totaled a 6-over-par 222 to tie for 23rd.
Senior Katie Mitchell tied for 55th, and Louise Oxner tied for 68th, which rounded out the Cardinals' four scorers.
Louisville is idle for more than week before it begins postseason play, opening at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship on April 15. The three-day tournament is being played at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
