
Sciot-Siegrist Finishes in Second as Cards Tie for Second at Clemson Invitational

Senior ties season-best finish.
Salem, S.C.—University of Louisville senior men's golfer Robin Sciot-Siegrist equalled his season-best performance by tying for second place at the the Clemson Invitational on Sunday.
As a team, the Cardinals tied with Georgia Tech for second overall. It was the third time this season the Cards finished in second place, standing in second at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate and the Wexford Plantation Invitational earlier this year.
Clemson won the tournament by 11 strokes at the Cliffs at Keowee Falls Course in Salem, S.C., a par-72 Jack Nicklaus designed course. The Cards and Yellow Jackets each fired 872 for the three-day event to tie for a runner-up spot.
Sciot-Siegrist posted his fifth top 10 finish this year and tied for second place for the second time this year. He placed second at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. This weekend, Sciot-Siegrist fired a 6-under par 210 to finish just two shots behind Georgia Tech's Vince Whaley, who won the tournament with a score of 208.
The Cards had two other golfers finish in the top 15 as Keegan de Lange was tied for ninth and J.D. Lehman finished 12th. De Lange was 2-over par for the tournament despite a 76 on Saturday. He shot 71-76-71=218, while Lehman was one shot behind, carding 72-71-76=219.
Simon Zach was tied for 32nd place after he shot 73-77-77=227, while Erik Dulik was tied for 47th when fired 78-81-75=234.
The Cardinals will close out the regular season at the Boilermaker Invitational on April 16-17.
