
De Lange Posts First Top Five Finish at Seminole Intercollegiate

De Lange fires 5-under par to finish fourth
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - University of Louisville men's golfer Keegan de Lange posted his first top-five finish as the Cardinals placed ninth at the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Southwood Golf Club.
De Lange shot 68 in the third round on Saturday to lead the Cardinals. Playing in only his third event, de Lange fired rounds of 73-70-68=211 to finish at 5-under par for the tournament, which played two rounds on Saturday because of bad weather slated for the Tallahassee area on Sunday.
As a team, the Cardinals ended the tournament at 1-under par and in ninth place with scores of 290-282-291=863. Auburn won the tournament after shooting 290-277-283=850. Florida State was in second place and James Madison ended the tournament in third place.
Simon Zach ended play in a tie for 22nd place after shooting a 1-under par 74-68-73=215, while J.D. Lehman tied for 35th with scores of 71-74-73=218. Robin Sciot-Siegrist tied for 41st after shooting 72-70-77=219. Patrick Frodigh tied for 59th after he shot 74-74-78=226.
The Cards return to action on March 20-22 at the Linger Longer Invitational in Eatonton, Ga.
