Lacrosse Announces 2015 Fall Schedule

Fall schedule will prepare the Cardinals for the upcoming season
LOUISVILLE, KY. -- University of Louisville women's lacrosse head coach Kellie Young announced the program's fall schedule on Monday, highlighted by a home contests against Marquette and Kennesaw State and an alumnae game in October.
"This fall, we are facing some of the strongest talent in the country as we prepare for another challenging schedule in the ACC," said Young. "Each scrimmage will prepare us in different ways to take on another tough schedule in 2016."
The Cardinals open competition on Sept. 27 at Cincinnati for a Tournament. A week later, Louisville is scheduled to play in the Johns Hopkins Tournament. The Tournament is the fifth annual Stick it to Sarcoma event on Sunday, October 4. The annual fundraiser will feature teams: host Johns Hopkins, Team STX, and Lehigh.
Louisville will wrap up their road stint the weekend of Oct. 10-11. Â The Cards will play in the U.S. Naval Academy Tournament on Oct. 10. The next day to Cardinals will face the USA National team in Annapolis, Maryland.Â
The Cardinals will play host to their annual banquet on Oct. 16 and will host an alumnae game the following day. Louisville will also face Marquette and Kennesaw State the same day.Â
