Cat Gordon wraps up final season with another academic honor
Cat Gordon of the University of Louisville women's lacrosse team was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association's Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced on Tuesday. Gordon joined 256 student-athletes for 80 different institutions on the 2015 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for recognition, the student-athletes must be at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA or 3.50 or greater.
Gordon graduated in May with a degree in communications. She saw action in 14 games last season. She scored three goals in her final season, helping the Cardinals to their second consecutive NCAA appearance.
Earlier this month, the women's lacrosse team was tabbed an IWLCA Division I Academic Squad for maintaining a team grade-point average of at least 3.0.
