Sciot-Siegrist Finishes Fourth at Mason Rudolph

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Leading after the second day, University of Louisville men's gofer Robin Sciot-Siegrist shot over par to finish fourth-place on Sunday at the Mason Rudolph Championship in Nashville, Tenn.
As a team in a tough field, the Cardinals ended the tournament in sixth-place with 289-290-297=897. The Cardinals finish seven shots behind fifth place East Tennessee State.
The sixth-ranked Vanderbilt men's golf team led from start to finish to claim the 2015 Mason Rudolph Championship, winning the three-round tournament by 11 shots over Georgia Tech and Alabama, who tied for second, with a final score of 846 (280-287-279) at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
Senior Hunter Stewart and sophomore Matthias Schwab tied for medalist honors in the tournament, becoming the first Vanderbilt players to win the individual title since Luke List in 2005, with each carding a six-under par, 207.
Sciot-Siegrist entered play on Sunday with a one stroke lead, but shot a 2-over par 73 to place in a tie for fourth. He shot 70-67-73=210 for the tournament.
J.D. Lehman and Gus Lundquist tied for 27th overall by shooting 224 as the next highest finishers for the Cardinals. Lehman was 1-over par on Sunday, while Lundquist was 3-over par.
Trevor Sluman was tied for 47th overall after carding 76-72-78=226, while Robert Geibel fired 75-76-78=229 to tie for 54th.
The Cardinals are off until playing in the Purdue Invitational on April 18-20 in West Lafayette, Ind.
