Sciot-Siegrist Finishes Ninth Overall

STATESBORO, Ga. - - Junior Robin Sciot-Siegrist tied for ninth place for the University of Louisville men's golf team at the Schenkel Invitational, which is being held at the Forest Height Country Club in Statesboro, Ga.
The Cardinals finished in 13th place of 15 teams, while Auburn won the tournament with an impressive 41-under par. Vanderbilt was second one shot off the pace. The Cardinals shot 286-289-295=870 during the two-day event.
Sciot-Siegrist was solid during his two days of play, shooting 68-69=71=208, totaling rounds of 8-under par. J.D. Lehman tied for 54th place overall after firing 72-72-75=219, while Max Walz tied for 77th after his rounds of 71-73-81=225. Robert Geibel tied for 82nd with his scores of 75-75-77=227 and Gus Lundquist was tied for 84th after shooting 78-81-72=231.
Due to the threat of inclement weather on Sunday, the tournament schedule was played on Friday and Saturday.
The Cardinals will compete at the Rudolph Mason in Franklin, Tennessee on April 3-4..
