Cards Move Jump to Sixth at John Hayt

PONTE VEDRA, Fla. - The University of Louisville men's golf team moved up two spots to sixth at the Sawgrass Country Club after the second round of the John Hayt Invitational on Saturday.
Entering play in eighth place after shooting a 308, the Cardinals improved by 12 shots to fire 296 as a unit. Texas took the overall lead by three shots over North Florida.
Individually, Gus Lundquist had the best round on the afternoon after he fired a 1-under par 71 to move into a tie for 13th place overall. He improved by seven shots after firing a 78 on Friday.
Robin Sciot-Siegrist is tied for 28th after he shot a 4-over par 76, while Max Walz moved into a tie for 33rd after he shot 74 on Saturday.
J.D. Lehman is tied for 55th after shooting 79 and Robert Geibel is tied for 64th after he improved by eight shots to shoot 75.
