Louisville will play its first game of the season away from its home court as the Cardinals face the Saint Louis Billikens in the final game of the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational on Saturday in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Louisville defeated St. Francis Brooklyn 85-41 last Tuesday as the Cardinals were productive at both ends of the court, shooting 53.8 percent from the field and limiting the Terriers to 29.8 percent accuracy.

Four Cardinals are averaging double figures, Damion Lee leads the quartet of top scorers with 19.3 points per game. Chinanu Onuaku is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder on the team with 10.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Quentin Snider and Trey Lewis are tied for third on the team in scoring with 10.0 points each.  Snider also leads the team in assists, averaging 5.3 per game.Â

As a team, the Cardinals are shooting 52.1 percent from the field while holding opponents to 29.2 percent shooting. They are also shooting 38.3 percent from behind the arc while holding opponents to just 28.4 percent. They are averaging 48.5 rebounds and 16.5 assists per game. Â

 Unbeaten Saint Louis (4-0) prevailed 70-57 over North Florida on Nov. 24 as Ash Yacoubou led SLU with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Saint Louis returns four starters from last season's team which posted an 11-21 record, including 6-6 sophomore forward Milik Yarbrough, a 2015 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team selection. Lone senior guard Yacoubou averages 15.8 points and 8.0 rebounds, fourth in the A-10. SLU is No. 104 in the Sagarin Ratings and No. 117 in the Ken Pomeroy's ratings through games as of Nov. 24.

Saint Louis has beaten its three Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational foes by an average of 13 points; Louisville has defeated the same three by an average of 35.7 points.

Louisville has a 46-20 advantage over Saint Louis in a series that dates back to 1928. The Cardinals have won four of the last five matchups and are 4-0 against the Billikens in neutral site games. In the last matchup in the 2014 NCAA Tournament Third Round in Orlando, Fla., Louisville prevailed 66-51 as Luke Hancock led the Cardinals with 21 points (3-22-14).

Louisville and Saint Louis were previously conference mates in three different leagues. The teams were in the Missouri Valley 1964-75 and were founding members of the Metro Conference, existing together in that league from 1975-1982. They reunited when both joined Conference USA and were together from 1995-2005.
