Rowing Releases 2014-15 Schedule

- 2014-15 Louisville Rowing Schedule
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville rowing head coach Derek Copeland announced the Cardinals' 2014-15 schedule on Friday morning.
Following a 17th-place finish in its first NCAA Championship appearance in 2014, Louisville will begin the 2014-15 slate with a fall scrimmage at Indiana on Sept. 20. The Cardinals will continue the fall with the annual Red & Black Regatta on Oct. 4 along the Ohio River at the G. Garvin Brown III Rowing Center. The fall portion of the schedule will conclude with the Head of the Hooch regatta on Nov. 1 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the Rivanna Romp on Nov. 16 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
After its winter training break, Louisville will open the spring schedule as the host program for the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on March 14-15 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. It will mark the fourth year the Cardinals have hosted the early spring event on Melton Hill Lake. That will be followed by a visit to Columbus, Ohio for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on March 28.
The month of April will include a cross country trip to Corvallis, Oregon for the Oregon State Invitational on April 4-5 and the first of two spring visits to Clemson, South Carolina for the Clemson Invitational on April 18-19. Following a road matchup at Michigan on May 2 in Ann Arbor, the Cardinals will return to Clemson for the ACC Championship on May 15-16. The 2015 season will conclude on May 29-31 with the NCAA Rowing Championship in Gold River, Calif.
