LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's lacrosse program is playing host to a pair of camps this summer at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium.
The first of the two sessions, the developmental camp runs from June 23-26 from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to rising kindergartners through ninth graders. Players will be grouped by skill level. The camp is specifically designed for those who are new to the sport, with the goal of building a solid lacrosse foundation in a friendly atmosphere.

Louisville's elite camp, which takes place from July 7-10, is open to rising sixth graders to graduating high school seniors. Throughout the four days, campers will take part in five-skill sessions and tournament-style play. Each participant will be placed on a team that competes throughout the camp, culminating with a championship game on the final day of camp.
For the elite camp, participants have an overnight option in which they will stay at Kurz Hall on UofL's campus. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
In addition to Louisville head coach Kellie Young and assistants Crysti Foote and Victoria Latino, the elite camp features instruction from Centre College women's lacrosse head coach Julie Beer and Georgetown College women's lacrosse head coach Brandon Davis. Louisville's student-athletes also will be on-hand.
The Cardinals are coming off their most successful season in school history, which was capped by a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16.
In addition to reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history and achieving its first NCAA Tournament victory, Louisville won the BIG EAST regular-season and tournament titles. The school also capped a historical season that included school records in wins (16) and consecutive victories (12).
