
Sciot-Siegrist Finishes Second at Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Sophomore Robin Sciot-Siegrist of the University of Louisville men's golf team fired a third round score of 67 to finish in second place at the Boilermaker Invitational on Sunday.
The Cardinals, who entered the day in second place, fired a 289, their best-round of the tournament, but slipped to fourth-place overall. UofL fired 295-291-289=875 to finish 10 shots behind Iowa, who won with an 865. No. 9 Illinois finished second at 866 and UCLA was third at 871.
Sciot-Siegrist, who tied for second in his last tournament, shot a 6-under par 73-70-67=210, just one shot behind Steven Ihm of Iowa, who won the tournament with a 7-under par 209.
Antoine LeSaux was the next highest finisher for the Cardinals, carding 78-70-74=222, while Robert Geibel and J.D. Lehman finished in a tie for 39th after shooting 224.
Max Walz rounded out the top five after he tied for 58th place, carding 73-79-77=229.
The Cardinals will compete at the American Athletic Conference Championships on April 27-29 in Tampa, Fla.
