
Women's Swimming Has Best NCAA Finish Ever

The University of Louisville women's swimming and diving team scored twice more and posted the highest team finish in school history at the 2014 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Minneapolis on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
The Cardinals finished 15th as a team after three days of competition. Georgia won the national crown.
In Saturday night's events, Louisville sophomore Kelsi Worrell set a new school record and All American status with a 1:53.63 in the 200-fly. She finished fourth in the championship heat with Cammile Adams of Texas posting the winning time of 1:52.25.
Tanja Kylliainen was in the consols of the 200-fly and almost chased down the leader, finishing second in the heat and 10th overall with a time of 1:54.84. Only .23 of a second separated the top three racers in a thrilling home stretch.
