BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Freshman Maryssa Becker struck out five en route to her first career no-hitter and junior Kelsi Jones went 2 for 4 with two RBIs to help the Cardinals to a 3-0 win over host Western Kentucky.
The Cards jumped to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Kelsi Jones took the second pitch of her at bat over the centerfield fence for her team-best seventh homer of the season.
The Cardinals added to the lead in the third when Jones led off with a double down the left field line. One out later, Katie Keller sent a double to right field to bring her home.
Louisville tacked on another run in the fifth. Morgan Meyer delivered a leadoff bunt single and stole second. A groundout by Whitney Arion sent her to third and she crossed the plate on a wild pitch to make it a 3-0 game.
Becker (5-1) notched Louisville's first no-hitter since April 15, 2012 when Tori Collins posted one against Longwood. Keller was 2 for 2 with an RBI in the game while Meyer was 2 for 3 with a run.
