Swimming and Diving have 58 NCAA Top 50 times

The University of Louisville's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have posted nationally ranked times with 58 times ranking in the top 50 and of those 35 ranked in the top 25 with eight of those in the top five in NCAA Division I rankings.
Of the 58 ranked, Louisville's Tanja Kylliainen takes a No. 1 spot in Division I in the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:10.89, and Kelsi Worrell has the fastest time in the nation in the 100 Butterfly at 52.12. The Cardinals have six top 50 in both the 400 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle events.
Louisville's next meet will take place at the Ralph Wright Natatorium against North Carolina November 7-8 in an ACC matchup.
Six ACC men's teams are ranked in the first edition of the CSCAA Rankings with NC State (3), North Carolina (7), Louisville (9), Virginia Tech (12), Georgia Tech (15) and Florida State (T-24). The ACC's six ranked men's teams trails only the eight from the Big Ten. Four ACC women's teams are represented in the CSCAA Rankings with North Carolina (5), Louisville (9), NC State (19) and Florida State (25).
